Terms of Service
Gotta agree to our rules first, then we can get started!
TLDR We don't police your morals, but we fiercely protect our infrastructure. You can use our privacy tools however you see fit, but DO NOT use them in a way that brings law enforcement to our door, gets our domains blacklisted, or causes our upstream providers to ban us. Use common sense and treat your synthetic identity's reputation like it is your real one. If your actions threaten the survival of this product, we will terminate your access. You are solely responsible for your actions.
Welcome to Shadowself. By accessing or using the Shadowself service, our clearweb website shadowself.io, our Tor hidden services, and any related applications (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these rules, do not use the Service.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you ("User") and Shadowself ("Us"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned entirely upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
Description of Service
Shadowself is a tool designed to empower users to protect their online privacy, avoid tracking, and maintain digital anonymity. The Service enables the generation and management of synthetic digital identities. These identities may include proxy routing, temporary communications, and generated personas. We provide the tools; how you utilize this anonymity is entirely up to you.
User Accounts & Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Because we operate on a zero-knowledge basis, we cannot recover lost passwords for you. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that threaten our infrastructure or are found to be in violation of these Terms.
Prohibited Uses
We do not monitor your traffic, read your communications, or police your personal ethics. However, our Service relies on clean infrastructure to function. You agree NOT to use the Service in any way that jeopardizes our platform, gets our assets blacklisted, or attracts legal liability to our developers.
Specifically, you may NOT engage in:
- Infrastructure Abuse: Sending mass spam, phishing campaigns, or launching DDoS attacks that result in
@shadowself.ioemail domains, IPs, or proxies being placed on global blacklists. - Provider Burning: Abusing virtual phone numbers, APIs, or proxy routing in ways that trigger automated bans from our upstream telecommunication and server providers.
- High-Profile Liability: Utilizing the service for activities that invite targeted, high-profile law enforcement investigations (terrorism, child exploitation, major state-level extortion, etc.) that threaten the very existence of this platform.
- Attacking Shadowself: Attempting to hack, disrupt, or exploit the Shadowself servers, smart contracts, or infrastructure.
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, or content you manage using the Service. We highly advise you to use common sense and treat your synthetic identity like your real identity. If you use your synthetic persona to aggressively spam or abuse third-party platforms, those platforms will ban your synthetic identifiers. If you burn your own tools, they become useless to you, and we will not issue refunds for identities you intentionally got banned.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Shadowself and its licensors. The Service is protected by applicable global copyright and trademark laws. Our branding and trade dress may not be used in connection with any third-party product or service without our prior written consent.
Termination
If our automated systems or upstream providers flag your specific identity's routing for severe infrastructure abuse, we may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability. You may also autonomously terminate your account at any time via your settings dashboard, which will permanently purge your data.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Shadowself, nor its developers or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any consequences resulting from your use of synthetic identities; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions, even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shadowself from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) your interactions with third-party platforms using our tools.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Shadowself does not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted or available at any particular time; b) third-party platforms will accept our synthetic phone numbers or proxy IPs; or c) the Service is completely immune to determined state-level adversaries.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Because Shadowself operates globally and prioritizes user anonymity, these Terms are governed by universally recognized principles of digital sovereignty and data minimalism. By using this Service, you agree that any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through private, binding arbitration, waiving the right to participate in a class-action lawsuit.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting the new terms on the Website. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
